Music productions at the open air Revolving theatre in Český Krumlov after the year 1989

The thesis discuss opera presenting in a netraditional space of revolving theatre in Český Krumlov in the most controversial period of its existence - it means after the reconstruction in 1989. The author mapped the case in the chapter Reconstruction - the State after the Velvet Revolution. There is shown in which situation the inscenations came. The first part of the thesis is about the history of this theatre in the castle garden - it is called Rediscovery of the Castle Garden in Český Krumlov for the Theatre Production. In the next chapter The History of Opera in front of the Revolving Theatre the author focussed on the progress of opera in the castle garden in Český Krumlov. She solves staging and dramaturgical limits of the space. She deals with the influence of the space on the form of inscenations on the base of analysis of three different inscenations of Verdi's Rigoletto in the chapter Three Rigoletts in Český Krumlov. The inscenations she set into the general historical context of this theatre and she brang forth the picture at the specialist public in the chapter The Picture at the Specialist Public in 1995 - 2013. From literature towards opera: Comparative analysis of prose fiction and drama that have been adapted into the genre of opera performance

This thesis deals with a comparatice analysis, where there are original literary productions (proses, dramas), that were then used for creating librettos of operas productions. The thesis focus on opera performances presented on stages of South Bohemian Theatre in last few years, and also belongs to canon of tradition of world's opera. The analysis is following the way of adaptation of the original piece, it means the conversion of the production, originally defined for a quiet reading, into the genre based on performing and accented his performance's nature. The thesis follows conventional and inventive characters by original literary production, and also by opera's text "adaptation". The thesis specifically follows the relationship of these productions: Victorien Sardou: Tosca and Giacommo Puccini: Tosca; Prosper Mérimée: Carmen and Georges Bizet: Carmen; Pierre - Augustin Caron de Beaumarchais: The Marriage of Figaro and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: The Marriage of Figaro; Antonio García Gutiérrez: Il Trovatore and Giuseppe Verdi: Il Trovatore; and also the productions without the original literar artwork: Giuseppe Verdi: Aida and Antonín Dvořák: Rusalka.

New Media and Theatre Audiences

This diploma master thesis deals with the use of new media and implementation of current online communication trends in the czech theatre environment.
The first part defines most important terms and describes the features of the main platforms in online communication. Than follows a comparative analysis of the social media communication of five czech theatres - Jihočeské divadlo in České Budějovice, Slovácké divadlo in Uherské Hradiště, Městské divadlo Zlín, Moravské divadlo in Olomouc and Klicperovo divadlo in Hradec Králové.
The next part presents the results of the online survey, which was carried out in cooperation with one of the analyzed theatres, Jihočeské divadlo. This research focused on online audience and their online and offline participation. Based on the research, some recomendations for the communication strategy of Jihočeské divadlo were formulated.

The role of marketing in the company

The main goal of the bachelor thesis is the explaining of the marketing role in the contributory company Jihočeské divadlo of the city České Budějovice, regarding the management and decision making. The theoretical part is dedicated to the marketing knowledge. The practical part aims to evaluate the results of the research consider to the marketing activities in the firm by means of a structured interview. This analytical technique of data collection lies in the obtaining of the primary information from the respondents, based on exactly the established procedures with questions, where in most cases the respondents have not got any answers to choose. The interview was conducted with the head of the Bussines Department of the South Bohemian Theatre Věra Ernst. The resulting answers were the basis for the processing and evaluation of the twelve questions which were necessary incorporated into chapters for this work. In the connection of the research itself, the main intention was the obtaining of the information focused on the Marketing Information System of the investigated company which can present opportunity in the form of a competitive advantage. The provident companies target their offers at customers needs the using of timely, exact and reliable information from the system. It ensures a profit as well as the customer satisfaction. In the conclusion the findings including the hypotheses were analysed and evaluated and the recommendations, leading to optimization of the future firm activities were made.

Dramaturgy and Performances in South Bohemian Theatre: Drama Company 2006 - 2013

Abstact South Bohemian Theatre in České Budějovice is an important kulture institution since the end of the First World War. Against many different peripeties is this theatre with four companies only one profesional scene in the South Bohemian Region. From 2004 till now were here thanks to theatre director Jiří Šesták substantially developed opera, operetta, ballet, drama and theatre for children and teen - agers. Since 2006, when Martin Glaser has become an art chief of the Drama Company, works this company on clear dramaturgy and style of performances. Martin Glaser with dramaturge Olga Šubrtová were focused on contemporary drama, on cooperation with eminent czech theatre directors or creators and specially for this company were created several dramas. Thanks to management and direction by Martin Glaser became the Drama Company of South Bohemian Theatre contemporary, respected and definable.

Actor in regional theatre during the era of normalization and transformation

This diploma thesis aims to uncover through personal testimonies by (self)reflection of the world of one of the regional theaters and its officials. The first part is devoted to South Bohemian Theatre as a whole. Primarily presents with such ambitions and the conditions in which this regional theater actor in the cultural field. You can also find alternative scene, Revolving Theatre in Cesky Krumlov, especially in terms of repertoire and his superiority and operational limits. In the second part of the thesis is the theater, and especially the officials undergo reflection in the eyes of spectators and the "other" people. Perception is positive or negative in nature and is aware of the public need to culture and its influence on daily life or the difficulty of acting as a profession? In the third part speaks actors themselves and people from the theater and with their help it is reconstructed the art world and the reflection of ourselves and the acting craft in general. Space is also given thought to whether the difference in regionálnálním be an artist or a Prague theater and whether in the theater world has changed a lot with the year of 1989. The professional Stage of České Budějovice in the period 1939-1945.

The main aim of the work is to describe to present reader as much as possible the situation in the South Bohemian Theatre in the time, when World War II stormed in the Europe. We were interested in all the important events that took place in the theatre in that time, the problems with faced the members of the theatre, what impact had the Germans on the functioning of the theatre, how the theatre affected the audience and whether they also had some objections about his work or what was the level of played performances. Finally, we looked for the answer if the other theatrical associations could play in the theatre. We compiled a detailed program of played performances, watched response of operation in theatre criticism, made an overview of societies and its members and there are also mentioned other interesting observations related to the South Bohemian Theatre in this work.

The Period of Work of Actor Miroslav Macháček on The Stage of České Budějovice.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is the reconstuction of the actions of Miroslav Macháček in the role of actor and director in the theater in České Budějovice. Although this period represents a short time in Machaček?s profesional career, his work is signicifantly written in the history of the South Bohemian theater. In politicaly complicated situation of the second half of the twentieth century Macháček?s negative political attitude caused him various of professional and personal troubles. These circumstances created an interesting background in his work. Using available sources and information this thesis should give a comprehensive view of the work of Miroslav Macháček on the scene of the South Bohemian theatre.
